 | A Brief History of Keir Constructions"A local from the start, with locals at heart" Brad Keir was raised in Townsville and went on to complete his carpentry apprenticeship with a local builder. With his trade behind him and his life ahead, Brad continued working in the industry as a subcontractor honing his skills and gaining invaluable insight into the local new home market, developing philosophies of his own along the way. Brad then decided it was time to put what he had learned to the test. In 2000 Brad with the support of his wife Karina and their growing family began a partnership building superior quality homes in and around Townsville, earning a reputation for service, quality and the ability to deliver what was promised. With the completion of each new home resulting in referrals to build for friends and families of past clients, confidence in the philosophies and the process being implemented was on the incline, prompting Brad and Karina to start planning for their long term future in the industry. Plans were now in place to lay the foundation that would ultimately ensure the long term future of this tried and true service and with continued passion Brad and Karina formed Keir Constructions Townsville Pty Ltd in 2006, and in doing so "raised the bar on what you should expect when building your new home".
